Qritique is a platform that allows consumers to share reviews (complaints and compliments) about businesses in Namibia. Businesses can claim their profiles, respond to reviews, and access analytics about their reputation.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To submit reviews or claim a business, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
3.2 Account Types
- Consumer accounts: For individuals sharing reviews
- Business accounts: For business owners managing their profiles
- Admin accounts: For platform administrators
4. User Content
4.1 Reviews
When submitting reviews, you agree that your content:
- Is based on genuine, first-hand experiences
- Is accurate and not misleading
- Does not contain false or defamatory statements
- Does not infringe on any third-party rights
- Does not contain spam, advertising, or promotional content
4.2 License Grant
By posting content, you grant Qritique a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with our Service.
4.3 Content Moderation
We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove content that violates these terms or our Content Policy. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our guidelines.
5. Business Accounts
5.1 Claiming a Business
To claim a business profile, you must verify that you are authorized to represent that business. We may require documentation to verify ownership.
5.2 Business Responsibilities
Business account holders agree to:
- Provide accurate business information
- Respond to reviews professionally and respectfully
- Not manipulate or falsify reviews
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Create fake reviews or accounts
- Harass, threaten, or defame other users
- Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews
- Scrape or harvest data from our Service
- Interfere with the operation of our Service
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
7. Intellectual Property
The Qritique name, logo, and all related marks are our trademarks. All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Qritique and protected by intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content posted by users.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qritique shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Qritique harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Namibia.
